WordCamp African Conferences Empowering Business Ownerships and Entrepreneurs Youth and Teens of Africa

WordCamp Masaka (The First WC Masaka) October 2023 (https://masaka.wordcamp.org/2023) is a continuation of learning that is empowering African youth, teens, and young adults. Empowering African youth to see beyond their current living and seeing a better future with the integration of technology knowledge gained from participating in WordCamp conferences across the African continent.

WordCamp conferences have been held in Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Egypt, and South Africa in 2023. Initially created for adults, but soon the realization of keeping the conference impactful and progressive, there needed to be a mission to include the youngest audiences from ages 7 (sometimes younger) to 17.

The growing digital landscapes are evolving at an unprecedented pace, and African youth have a tremendous opportunity to harness the power of technology for personal growth and community development. The immense potential for Africa is WordCamp conferences that have been happening since 2017 and growing in influence and empowerment. Designed to empower individuals through knowledge sharing, networking, and skill development,

WordCamp offers a unique chance for African youth to expand their horizons and contribute to the continental digital community. My Quest To Teach and MetaverseWP have contributed to sponsoring over 200 youth, teens and young adults since 2018 to attend these transformative conferences. Providing scholarships, sponsorships and learning opportunities that can open doors to business ownership and entrepreneurialism.
