What if a robot could help bring education to communities without reliable electricity?

Technology
Students from Government Technical College, Ikotun, Lagos, built Smarteach, a portable, solar-powered education robot designed to support learning in rural and off-grid communities.

The project was developed for the WIPO Nigeria Kids Innovation Challenge, where young Nigerians were challenged to create solutions to real-world problems.
The students won the overall challenge.

And their idea is simple: use technology and solar power to make learning possible in places where traditional educational infrastructure may be limited.
