CHOSA: SOUTH AFRICAN NGO WORKING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

As we know the presence of non governmental organizations (NGOs) are a common fixture in
most African countries where there are survival challenges for vulnerable members in a
particular society.

In South Africa, there are non-governmental organizations (NGOs) helping those who need
assistance the most. those who need assistance the most.

CHOSA South Africa, takes a holistic approach to community development. It helps to see
marginalized members of the community become empowered. Also, it promotes local action,
self-empowerment, and peer-to-peer networking as essential strategies for community-owned
development.

They start my highlighting the most severe problem of a South Africa child with consists of;
● Malnutrition
● Health
● Education
● Violence and Fear

These are just some out of the many vices that affect a child in the South African community.
However, CHOSA believes that every South African child should grow up in a healthy, safe and nurturing environment.

To achieve this, the organization empowers people to address child poverty and confront that
which sustains a community’s impoverishment,
The Non-Profitable Organization gives grants to its partners providing a children’s home, two
preschools, a girl’s empowerment program and a scholarship fund with clothing, food, medicine,
electricity and water for the children and families in their care.

We totally recognize and commend CHOSA’s effort to help the South African community and
look forward to the organization reaching even more regions and African children.
