A human rights group in Lesotho has petitioned South Africa’s Parliament to remove the passport requirement for travel between the two countries.
The organisation, Advocates for the Supremacy of the Constitution (Section Two), says the 1963 rule is an outdated apartheid-era policy that affects daily life, work, family visits, and access to healthcare.
