Afrobeat legend Femi Kuti has achieved a remarkable milestone, completing 24 shows in just one month across Canada and the United States. The feat, rare even for younger performers, highlights his enduring stamina and passion for music at the age of 63.

The tour, featuring Femi Kuti and The Positive Force, ran from July 15 to August 16, 2025, with stops including Halifax, Detroit, Washington D.C., and cities across the West Coast, according to his official Facebook page.

Femi’s tour followed the release of Journey Through Life, a 10-track album that reflects his signature blend of funk, jazz-inspired improvisations, and socially conscious lyrics.
On stage, his energy remains infectious, with performances that not only entertain but also deliver messages on corruption, injustice, and resilience.

Femi has spent over four decades producing acclaimed albums like Shoki Shoki, Fight to Win, and Stop the Hate.

Beyond the records and tours, Femi Kuti’s story is one of grit, consistency, and cultural pride — proving that age is no barrier when music is both a calling and a mission.
